An accredited exercise physiologist has the skills to prescribe exercise to help in the prevention and management of chronic diseases and injuries. Exercise Physiologists have an extensive knowledge of the human body and they are experts in the ways how exercise can help you to increase your mental and physical health. They are able to work with a wide range of population groups including but not limited to injured workers, the older population and the general public. Their work involves creating exercise rehabilitation programs as well as providing exercise in a group setting.

- Cardiovascular diseases
- Cancer treatment recovery
- Musculoskeletal diseases
- Neuromuscular diseases ( e.g. Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson)
- Post surgery rehabilitation
Since the exercise physiology unit is located inside the gymnasium, we have the advantage of using the gym equipments for certain exercises as well swimming pool for hydrotherapy.
Exercise Physiology services are available on Fridays from 12pm to 7pm.
